The 3rd bi-class 330 is arriving July 18. I guess we'll see less and less of the legacy 330s in the coming months

RP-C3332 just left CRK for SFO and onto GWO for storage... the remaining A333s will follow... If I'm not mistaken, its only RP-C3337 that remains to be in use... the rest have been stored in CRK or in LTP...

There's a mass evac of PR widebodies from MNL to different provincial stations to shelter from Glenda...

Went through T3 this morning and was wondering, where the check-in counters of EK and the others will be when they transfer to T3? 5J has completely occupied concourse B to E (?) leaving NH and PR with only concourse A and half of concourse B.

last time i was in manila, about 7 months ago, i was so early in the airport, about 3 pm (my flight with 5J was in about 7:30 or was that 45 at night back to cebu) then i noticed that half of the domestic concourse of 5J was just for early check-in counters. so apparently, even though check-in starts at around 4 or 5, i checked-in at about 3:15 pm. It was pretty convenient, which is good.

It will be where ANA is, and so does the rest of the transferees. And when they are transferred there will be no more non-passenger allowed inside the terminal like what is being done at T1.

Changing topic first. Seems like Farnborough will soon end and still no order from PAL for brand new jets. Are they still putting in orders for bnew jets or are they just sticking to ordering old jets like A340s and 757s?

So 5J retains use of 3-4 whole concourses? Can the int'l airlines all fit in one side of concourse B? seems such a small area for the amount of operations EK, CX, SQ have... plus will they be building their lounges in T3 already as well?

No orders for jet it seems. But they just made a choice for engines and that was made at Farnborough.

A, B, and C are intended for international bound airlines. 5J just happen to be the largest international carrier out of T3. Naturally they would occupy a substantial portion for efficiency.

My next question would be, will PAL ever still order brand new long range aircraft? Not even the A330NEO has the range of an A350 or a 787.
