I hope this isn't the case, but there is one simple fix that they can do to boost numbers: France should allow Filipinos to transit without needing to get transit visas. It is the only country in the EU that requires this of Philippine passport holders, and while AF can be a logical airline to transit with on certain routes (MNL-UK, MNL-North Africa, etc.), it can't benefit from that while this restriction exists.

Discover Airlines currently operates three A330-200s and eleven A330-300s on long-haul routes. However, the A330-200s are scheduled to be phased out of the fleet in the near future. Lufthansa says it is currently considering upgrading its wide-body fleet with current models. The list of candidates includes the usual suspects: Lufthansa is planning to use A330-900s, A350-900s, and 787s for Discover Airlines, according to sources close to the company. However, the trend is "strongly" toward the A350.

An A350 solution for Discover Airlines actually seems like a natural fit. Lufthansa has a handful of leased A350-900s in third-party configurations. The contracts for these jets are expiring soon. Discover could find a subsequent use for the aircraft – if the conditions are right.

I think its the ex PAL A359s

Fact that PAL has been extremely quiet on everything and are just leaving things up in the "air" for when it is there then nothing much anyone can do about it is basically where they are at now.

Not really. They are actually boosting up their war chest by buying 2 A330 and 9 A321 with 3 A321 also on the buying blocks. You heard them being refurbished. Because they can now do that.

Is it possible that they were able to reacquire 8784 and 8785 or another leased aircraft?

nasita pala kahapon ang PAL during the senate hearing on public services in what Sen.

That was not PAL plane but GAP plane. But yes, they still are PAL owned planes as GAP is leasing it from them. Anyway, falling trays and damage seats are not important in plane safety. Reputation however is. They would be water under the bridge next year.

77 and 76 are no longer part of the PR fleet. Those pictures were taken while they were still around. They were replaced by U3 (Garuda). U3 are mostly Canada bound. Still, 777s gradual replacement begins next quarter. The other is A330 business class which was a joke. They are undergoing refurbishment now.

according to the comment section, the refurbished A321 will have a capacity of 12/182 = 194. I hope there's an added lav for ecy. Hopefully located at LR3 and not behind business.
