In speaking of Cebu Pacific and Australia

Cebu Pacific has set up a beach bar at Bondi Beach, Sydney, capturing the tropical paradise vibe unique to the Philippines.

This is part of the Bondi Festival.

PAL is obviously a private company for sure, but personally i think the President can encourage them to purchase Boeing jets especially widebodies

The question is whether he and Trump can convince PAL to get those planes to help mitigate or at least lower the rate of PH tariffs

Anyway, it depends

What is on offer from Boeing though? PAL can’t even firm up their A35K options.

Would love to see a 737 or 787 order. But it doesn’t seem likely

Exactly

The fact that the refurbishment on the aircraft is at its slowest pace and the response to the customers feedback are on the same scale of reception then again brings us back to who rocks the cradle at PAL rocks its world.

Speaking of PAL, there's something I've been wondering about: back during the 747 and A340 days when LAX/SFO-MNL flights often had to make technical stops in Guam westbound, was that a year-round thing, or did that usually only happen during certain times of the year?

As far as I know, this was not year-round. This mostly took place in the winter if memory serves me right.

This is a message for Arianespace: the forum has been intermittently available over the past two days or so, with plenty of downtime. It may be worth checking.

Certain times of the year. Even the 77w suffer similar fate going westwards as they occasionally stop during wintertime. Particularly when they are payload heavy. The new 35k however does not stop even in full loads. So its a game changer.

What was again the reason behind the transfer of the tech stops from HNL to GUM? Any idea what year the tech stop was moved to GUM?

Change of plane for a start. PAL stopped HNL tech stop in 1992 after the arrival of the 744s. Boeing said they could skip the stop if they put less seats on it. It did do away with the tech when it was light.

Looks like there was no announcement of Boeing during the President's trip to the US. Most people here got it right that there won't be a deal.

So far Indonesia and Japan have successfully included Boeing orders as part of their negotiations with the United States

Avolon just ordered another 15 A330neos and 75 A321neos

I wonder if any of those 33Ns will end up with PAL.

Third Philippine Airlines A350-1000 is already spotted in Hamburg indicating back to back delivery of the aircraft type to the airline next year

The third one is the MSN 786 with its rear fuselage section spotted outside hangar 241-244.

It seems to be a PLDT/Smart issue as I can access the site properly on other ISPs, but on Smart/PLDT the site just refuses to load. Strangely enough, Nabble itself works, just not this forum.

Cebu Pacific is set to begin deploying its wide-body Airbus A330neo at Bohol Panglao International Airport (BPIA) by October, marking a major capacity upgrade for the route as the airline continues to expand its domestic network.

The A330neo, which can seat up to 459 passengers, will replace smaller aircraft currently servicing the Bohol-Manila sector.
