I would like to go to Russia from Philippines but don't know how or where to land. Which European country is near Russia? and if so is there a direct flight from Philippines to that European country? If so what is the name of the airlines.?

You don't need to go to EU for PH access. Most Russians and CIS countries come to the country via Thailand and Vietnam. Others use Turkey and China. PH doesn't have political problems with RU

prefer singapore or other EU for stop overs

No EU carrier can go to Russia. Similarly, no Russian carrier can go to EU. And you could not go to Norway from Russia and vice versa. Both can however be served by Turkish Airlines, a European carrier at IST that also connects MNL.
